I'm particularly proud of the hoop earrings (which I have in two sizes ad wire diameter) 'cause I've hammered and polished myself;  it is so rewarding when you create something with a soft look from something which is not,  like metal :)

Easter is coming, the big day is tomorrow and I'm already full of food... ehm.. I know I shouldn't eat these things before Easter Sunday, but I can't resist a Torta di Pasqua (this yellow thing below, full of parmigiano and pecorino cheese, fresh eggs and my mum's love ;) .
This year I asked my mother to make for me just tiny ones, just for my health's sake :)

(OK, I know, there's a small bite on the upper right corner... I just can't resist :D )
In my hometown, Perugia,  we do eat also sweet things, nothing that can be compare to the pastiera of Naples, which is a masterpiece, but something that I like a lot: the ciaramicola!
Ok, it's aspect is quite chemical, but I can assure that is all natural ;) the pink colour is given by a liquour, alchermes.

A fellow member of the EIT, Mairitales, has made a miniature of it too, too cute!!!! :)

La Pasqua si avvicina e domani e' il gran giorno!!!  A dire la verita' sono gia' strapiena di cibo. Lo so che non dovrei (il digiuno, la settimana santa ecc...) ma ecco, alla Torta di Pasqua io non so propio resitere.. e' una malattia (per chi non lo sapesse e' una specie di panettone salato, vedi prima foto in alto, strapieno di formaggio parmigiano, pecorino e pezzetti di groviera, uova fresche e tanto amore della mia mamma)
Quest'anno ho chiesto alla mamma di farmene solo due minuscole (e quello della foto e' l'ultimo pezzo),  tanto per non devastare completamente la mia salute.

Come dolce da queste parti non c'e' neinte di paragonabile a quel capolavoro che e' la pastiera napoletana, pero' facciamo una cosa che a me piace tanto: la ciaramicola!
Sì, ha un aspetto piuttosto chimico, ma in realta' non lo e', il colore rosa e' dato dall'alchermes nell'impasto :)

La mia amica e collega dell'EtsyItaliaTeam, Mairitales, tempo fa ne aveva fatta una miniatura, e' troppo bellaaaaaa !!!! :)

Today is the great day!!! Etsy opens an office in Berlin and Gasometri , proud members (they are two people..) of the EtsyItaliaTeam, are lucky enough to attend to the Etsy Party in Berlin tonight!!!!!!! :)
